Things are moving right along with the expansion of our food services area. Crews have been working hard and taking advantage of the wonderful weather we’ve been blessed with.
On Friday the construction team poured the concrete for half of our expanded kitchen floor and for the lower level pantry expansion. Today the crew was back framing up the wood floorboards for the pantry ceiling/kitchen floor of the expansion project.

Our transient area is getting a brand new tile floor! This is a much needed renovation to one of the busiest areas at The Hope Center.
This floor has an excessive amount of traffic 24 hours a day. Everyone coming into The Hope Center walks on this floor.
This area is the transient waiting area during the day and the transient dorm at night. This is also the place where our daily SoupLine guests meet for a devotional before lunch.
The old vinyl floor was cracking and peeling. Not only did it look bad but it also was a safety hazard. A new ceramic tile floor is being installed for the comfort and safety of our guests.
The total cost for this project is $9,000. Would you consider sending a special contribution to help offset the expense of installing this new floor? By sending a gift, you will be playing an important part in making life better for many physically and spiritually destitute people.
