We’re hiring a part-time Food Services Manager (FSM) for our kitchen at The Hope Center.
This is a very important position and one that will give the applicant plenty of interaction with resident men who work in the kitchen as well as our residents and community guests during meal service.
The Food Services Manager (cooking experience required) will oversee the daily operation of the kitchen which includes supervising program men who are assigned to kitchen duty. The FSM must be able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities which include creating a weekly menu schedule for all meals utilizing available food resources in our pantry. The FSM must be able to cook and easily navigate & supervise a kitchen as well as plan and prepare meals using donated food of various kinds.

The FSM can build positive relationships with these men and help them grow spiritually during their time at The Hope Center. In addition to our residents, the FSM has a very special opportunity to see the faces and meet the hundreds of people each year who join us for lunch each day at our daily soup line.
