Join us for ‘The Story of Christmas’

December is finally here which means the Christmas season just went into overdrive! It’s amazing how quickly this one month can fly by but it’s probably because there’s just so much great stuff to do like joining us on December 8th for a night of music, food, and Christmas celebration!

Story of Christmas

The choir from Maranatha Brethren Church will perform, ‘The Story of Christmas: Worship the King’ for our guests at 7pm at the Trinity Center. Each Christmas Maranatha performs their cantata and then follows the show with a delicious meal for all who attend. And did we mention that this festive night is all for free?? You read that right! Free. And it’s free for the entire family so why not bring everyone to celebrate the season with some great music and a scrumptious feast?

Tickets are not required. If you would like more information please call us at 301.739.1165 or visit http://www.hagerstownhopecenter.com.

Maranatha Celebrates the Season

Every Christmas the choir from Maranatha Brethren Church helps our guests celebrate the season of hope by performing their Christmas cantata and providing a special meal.

This year the choir performed ‘Journey of Christmas’. The choir featured several soloists and a quartet who all worked together to provide all of our evening guests with a wonderful reminder of why we celebrate this holiday.

Following the performance, the choir and others from the church served everyone in attendance a delicious homemade Christmas meal complete with cookies for dessert.

We want to thank Dan Thornton, pastor and choir director at Maranatha, Sue & Krista, who worked all day making food for the dinner and all of the choir and other church members who came to be a part of this evening for our guests.

If you are looking for a church to attend this Christmas, check out Maranatha Brethren Church at 19835 Scott Hill Dr in Hagerstown. Maranatha will be hosting a Christmas Eve service this Saturday at 7pm as well as a Christmas morning service at 10:30am on Sunday.
