Happy Birthday, Robert!

The first Friday of each month we celebrate the birthdays of any resident in our Foundations Life Recovery program.

In the month of December we were pleased to celebrate the birthday of Robert. Celebrating Robert’s birthday was a little more special because his birthday happened to be on the first Friday of December this year!

Robert joined the Foundations program in July of 2012. During his “birthday speech” he said that when he first came to The Hope Center he didn’t want to be here. He was looking for every excuse in the book to leave. But he stayed and he’s glad now that he did.

He’s grateful for the staff and the friendships that he’s made in the program. Robert said he enjoys working at The Hope Center farm, located just outside of Hagerstown, under the supervision of staff person, Brad Jacobs.

We want to thank our good friend, Stormy, for providing another delicious birthday cake for our residents!

Please join us in wishing Robert a happy birthday and many more to come! We love celebrating the lives of our residents. Each of them has a story of what brought them to The Hope Center. No matter what brought a man to our program, being able to celebrate a life saved is what it’s all about. Please continue to pray for all the guys that try to change their lives at The Hope Center. Pray for Robert as he continues to make improvements and allows God to totally work in his life.

Thank you for being a part of this ministry of hope. Your gifts to The Hope Center help to make recovery free for men like Robert!
