Tri-State Fellowship Gives Camp Wild a Helping Hand

With very little time left to have everything prepared for the campers next Monday, it’s nice to have extra hands pitch-in to help get the outdoor facilities ready for four weeks of camp.

Last Monday evening over 20 volunteers from Tri-State Fellowship church came out to help set up for Camp Wild!

The group helped clear out and rake all of the trails for various attractions, cut fallen trees, dig lots of holes for a new fence by the zip line and holes for signs at the new GPS trail, as well as clear out some flood damage by the waterfront.

We are always thankful for individuals and groups that volunteer their time to help out at The Hope Center. We know that people are extremely busy these days so it’s very exciting to see people coming taking time out of their schedules to help get much needed work done just like the group from Tri-State Fellowship did.

If you would be interested in finding out how you can volunteer please call 301.739.1165 or email hagerstownrescue@verizon.net. There are many different ways to get involved so don’t be shy! We’d love to have you or your group help reach needy people in Hagerstown!
