As the Northeast has been battered by the weather this year, the storms have taken a toll on our buildings and facilities. One of the more recent storms that brought heavy rain and wind pulled off several of the shingles on one of our buildings.  To help keep costs down so that we can better serve the community, we often look to our residents and staff for their expertise on various projects.

Luckily for us, we had quite a few handy guys in our program. The residents and staff worked together to conquer this project. For the past couple of days they’ve been hard at work on the roof ripping out the old shingles and laying the new ones.

It wasn’t an easy job but everyone worked hard and succeeded! We appreciate the hard work and good attitudes of the staff and residents that replaced our roof! Thanks guys!!
